Abstract

This paper reviews Milton Bennett’s developmental model of intercultural sensitivity in terms of its grounded perspective: phenomenology, constructivism and cognitive complexity. Based on these perspectives, the key concepts of the model, “differentiation” and “intercultural sensitivity”, are defined and discussed, and stages of the model are explained.
