In her “Writing the intellectual history of intercultural communication” (2008) Wendy Leeds-Hurwitz states: “We need to know our past, not for its own sake, but so that we learn why we study what we do in the ways we do, and so that we can consider making changes to our current assumptions and practices based on what we discover.”
Encouraged by questions from Grant Douglas, vice-president of SIETAR France, and from the audience, Milton will take us on a journey “back to the intercultural future” to explore where we are coming from as a field, where we are now and where we could or should be heading in the future.
